Master Trapper Taylor
Master Taylor began his training at age 4 under his father in the style of Kempo. At the age of 7 he moved to New York with his family where he started training in his first formal school at Klee’s Tae Kwan Do earning his second dan in Chung Do Kwan under Joe Klee (6th Dan). When he was 15 years old he left Klee’s and started training under Paul Cho (8th Dan) at Cho’s Tae Kwan Do in order to grow his knowledge. He earned his 3rd dan under GM Cho.
At 17 years old Master Taylor had the opportunity to travel to Japan as an exchange student through the Rotor Club. While is Japan he had the opportunity to study Kendo earning his 1st dan (1994-1995). When he came back to the U.S.A. he continued his Kendo training at the New York City Kendo Club. He took a number of years off from training while raising kids. He returned to his training in 2017 at the Asheville Kendo Club under Gendo Yokote san (3rd Dan).
